Somptueux Très Grand Tapis Persan Kāshmar aux Motifs "Vase et Oiseaux" - 380 x 290 cm

Description :

La ville de Kāshmar, située dans la province du Khorassan, est réputée pour ses tapis d'une finesse et d'une richesse ornementale inégalées. Ce modèle, datant probablement du milieu du XXe siècle, est un exemple parfait de cette tradition.

Le champ central, d'un bleu profond et riche, est orné d'un médaillon polylobé complexe et raffiné, d'où partent des rinceaux fleuris. Le design se distingue par sa symétrie parfaite et sa profusion de détails, avec notamment des motifs de vases élégants (signes de prospérité) et d'oiseaux stylisés (oiseaux de paradis ou 'Simurgh', symboles de sagesse et de protection). Ces éléments sont intégrés de manière harmonieuse dans une structure florale et de rinceaux entrelacés, créant une composition vivante et équilibrée.

Les bordures, également très travaillées, reprennent les motifs de vases et d'oiseaux dans une palette chromatique où dominent le bleu turquoise, le rouge garance, l'orange brûlé et le crème, encadrant le champ central avec magnificence.

Sumptuous Very Large Persian Kāshmar Carpet with "Vase and Birds" Patterns - 380 x 290 cm

The city of Kāshmar, located in the province of Khorassan, is renowned for its carpets of unrivalled finesse and ornamental richness. This model, probably dating from the mid-twentieth century, is a perfect example of this tradition.

The central field, in a deep, rich blue, is adorned with an intricate, refined polylobed medallion, from which floral scrolls flow. The design is distinguished by its perfect symmetry and profusion of detail, including motifs of elegant vases (signs of prosperity) and stylized birds (birds of paradise or 'Simurgh', symbols of wisdom and protection). These elements are harmoniously integrated into an intertwining floral and scroll structure, creating a lively, balanced composition.

The borders, also highly worked, repeat the vase and bird motifs in a chromatic palette dominated by turquoise blue, madder red, burnt orange and cream, framing the central field with magnificence.
